Biography
In 1999, Claire completed a degree in Physiology & Psychology (II:I) at Newcastle University, specialising in the field of Psychoneuroimmunology. Continuing her interest in the mind-body connection and its influence over Health and Wellbeing, Claire went on to study yoga and massage in India before starting formal training in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (Kingston University).
After graduating in 2004, Claire travelled to Sri Lanka to help with the disaster relief effort following the Asian Tsunami. She spent six months working in a Sri Lankan Hospital using her western and eastern medical training to help both Sri Lankans and NGO workers. On returning home, she worked with the highly regarded Neal's Yard Remedies for 4 years on the Advice Line, as a Manager & as an Acupuncturist, continuing to widen her knowledge in the field of Complementary Medicine.
She now works from the Berkeley Centre two days a week & has a busy clinic at The Westover in London. In her spare time, she runs yoga wellbeing weekends, where she incorporates her love of a healthy diet, yoga, the great outdoors and Acupuncture, to help others feel vital again! She is passionate about working with people & uses her diverse experience to offer her patients a unique treatment package.She loves adventure, keeping fit and motivating people to take control of their own health, thus enabling them to realise their full potential.
